UPDATE: After the return (free of charge), I received a refund as well. So I really appreciate it (add one more star). When it comes to purchasing these hair clips (which I didn't purchase again), it can be a hit or a miss. Please proceed with caution, especially if you have thick hair. What may work for some, may not work for others. Take care!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been looking for a replacement based on hair clips due to few broken ones (unfortunately, previous order of hair clips was already pass the refund/return period). I have an extremely thick and coarse 3c/4a hair that needs to be sectioned when it comes to styling for less tangles (despite it being short, I still have a lot of hair).That being said, I receive the package today. Once I open the package, my excitement went downhill when I saw a broken hair clip. Last thing I need to deal with AGAIN is broken hair clips. Because of the material (seems less sturdy then my previous hair clips that were broken), I am afraid to use it for styling sections. Maybe I should've stick with getting silicone/rubber material hair clips instead. Will have to return these, unfortunately. If you have an extremely thick coarse curly like me whose looking for sturdy hair clips, I would not recommend these. Two stars because the delivery was great as usual.

I've bought these before years ago and loved them! I last bought my current set in Jan. I thought they were working fine... Picked a couple up yesterday to get ready to use and three of them just busted sitting in my hand! I hadn't even tried to open them yet. Then this one (pictured) did the same thing just now. I'm down 4 brand new clips in less than 24 hours... Not happy and it's making my job way harder this week.
I'll happily update my review if it's made right.
