I bought this watch to wear while at work. I’m a big fan of Casio but I wanted to give Armstrong a try. I’m impressed with the looks and feel of this seemingly durable watch.
First off the band is nice and thick. It’s very pliable and feels good on the wrist. Casio watches at this price feel cheap and very thin. This one has som weight to it.
Second, the number are easy to read and large. Some other digital watches are difficult to recognize at a quick glance.
Third, it seems durable enough and should stand up to the rigors of a tradesman’s Day. Casios do a better job at protection the face since their glass/plastic is recessed. This watch face would the first thing contacted if you brushed up against a wall.
Finally, the directions are simple and easy to navigate.
The back light could be a little brighter, but it’s on par with other watches except the Timex indiglow which is easily the brightest offered.
Anyways, I’m happy with this purchase. Feels and looks good. Nothing fancy, but that’s exactly what I wanted.
